International Nursing Conference

The Korean Society of Nursing Science, founded in 1970, is an academic research organization with over 4,200 currently active nursing scholars.

The membership consists of professors from 201 nursing education institutions and related research institutes, along with researchers and leaders in the nursing field.

The primary goal of this society is to advance the field of nursing science through research and both domestic and international academic activities. It aims to contribute to the development of new nursing technologies and the establishment of key policies to improve public health, as well as to enhance exchanges with other academic societies.

To achieve these fundamental goals, the society supports nursing research activities, engages in initiatives for the advancement of nursing education, and undertakes the publication and dissemination of academic journals.

This association is comprised of the Korean Society of Nursing Administration, the Korean Academy of Fundamentals of Nursing, the Korean Society of Biological Nursing Science, the Korean Society of Adult Nursing, the Korean Society of Child Health Nursing, the Korean Society of Women Health Nursing, the Korean Academy of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, and the Korean Academy of Community Health Nursing. Each society is actively involved in domestic and international academic activities, including the publication of journals, and they organize an international conference (INC) every two years.
